Gayle, Dental Treatment Coordinator
Gayle has been working in the dental field for nearly 40 incredible years, and her favorite part of this job by far is connecting with our patients and helping them navigate their unique dental journey. In addition to her coordinating expertise, she is a Registered Dental Assistant and attends continuing education courses each year to stay on top of new developments in the field! Another fun thing to know about Gayle is that she kick-started Buda Dental Professionals’s very own podcast! “ToothTalkers” which will feature Denture Daddy (Dr. Carlyon), Molar Momma (Gayle) and Bicuspid Baby (Dr. Strickland), giving out valuable dental information while also making listeners laugh. Stay tuned for when it hits airwaves!
Outside of the dental office, Gayle and her husband David have two grown children named Heather and Ryan, as well as a grandson named Hudson. In her free time, she stays busy with lots of different hobbies, including raising chickens, hiking, enjoying nature, reading (especially suspense and educational self-help books), traveling with their motorhome, and checking out musicals/live plays as often as possible!
Jeff, New Patient Coordinator
Jeff first joined our team in 2020, but his career in the dental field spans well over a decade. In addition to being a dental assistant, he is a certified phlebotomist. He really enjoys delving into the technical aspects of this field while also getting to connect with people who he otherwise would never meet in normal life!
Outside of work, Jeff and his wife Bonnie have a young son named Carson. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, reading, attending Texas Longhorns sporting events, cooking, discovering new music, and traveling. He’s also an ordained minister and has performed one wedding so far, with hopefully more to come.
Silina, Dental Office Integrator
Silina has been a part of our team for over 20 years now, and she always goes the extra mile to support our team members and doctors so that they can take good care of patients in turn. She loves developing relationships and making sure that people feel heard. Listening to their stories and helping them solve problems is always extremely rewarding!
Away from work, Silina spends lots of time with her two amazing boys, Javen and Jude, who both regularly do public speaking in front of their large congregation, where the whole family is very active. The last two members of the family are their dogs Baylee (a Havanese mix) and Bella (a Terrier mix). In her spare time, she enjoys watching live theater, listening to audiobooks (especially “whodunnits”), visiting museums, hiking, hanging out at the beach, and doing lots of community service.
Stephanie, Administrative Coordinator
Stephanie is relatively new to Buda Dental Professionals, having joined our team in 2021, but she’s been working in the dental field for over a decade. She feels so proud each and every day to play a part in changing someone’s life for the better through dentistry. The whole team treats patients like the best of friends or family! Because of her experience traveling around constantly as a child (her dad served in the Army), she feels that she’s able to interact comfortably with others in all types of situations and appreciate them even more.
Stephanie and her husband have two children, Christian and Samira. You can normally find her out on the football field on weekends and spending quality time with the whole family. Some of her other “loves” in life include exercising, eating good food, and traveling.
Jannette, Registered Dental Assistant
Jannette has been happily caring for teeth as one of our assistants for nearly 20 years now! She is trained in coronal polishing and nitrous oxide. One of her favorite moments of assisting is being able to help our patients overcome their fear in the treatment chair.
When she isn’t busy at the dental office, Jannette stays busy with her two sons, two daughters, one son-in-law, and one fur baby. As for hobbies, she spends her free time creating jewelry for herself, tackling various home remodeling projects, and being a self-described mermaid. The beach is her happy place!
Kimberly, Registered Dental Assistant
Kimberly has been a member of our team for over five years now, with hopefully many more to come! As one of our assistants, she really enjoys connecting with patients on a personal level while also helping them get on the right track with their oral health.
Kimberly is happily married to her high school sweetheart Tre, who is a barber. They have three beautiful children together – Tre Jr, Derek, and Emilia. As a family, they love being out and about together, trying new things and catching up on movies regularly. On her own, some of her favorite hobbies include crafting and constantly taking photos!
Kristin, Dental Hygienist
Kristin’s career in the dental field spans well over a decade, with nearly all of that time spent right here at Buda Dental Professionals! She loves going above and beyond to build a strong connection with our patients and help them smile brighter at the end of their appointment.
Kristin’s husband Billy is the director of games and toys for Calendar Club, LLC. They have three wonderful children named Isabella (Bella), Liam, and Olivia. Some of her favorite hobbies in her downtime include reading and working on her strength training/conditioning.
Monica, Dental Hygienist
Monica’s career in the dental world spans nearly two full decades, and she never gets tired of connecting with patients and bonding with her coworkers on a daily basis! She has her Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX.
Monica and her husband have two kids: a spunky ball of fun named Teagan, and a sweetie who loves to give hugs named Remington (“Remy”). When she isn’t busy at the dental office, some of her favorite hobbies include staying active in church, white water rafting, trying new restaurants, prepping meals, working out in her home gym, and planning vacations.
Jamie, Dental Hygienist
Jamie has been a part of the Buda Dental Team for over 15 years, and our team agrees that she has the best laugh in the dental office! She does a wonderful job of getting to know our patients on a personal level during their appointments.
At home, Jamie and her husband Andrew have two children named Stella and Leo, as well as a dog named Penny. When she isn’t busy at work, you can often find her taking her kids to their various activities, reading, running, fishing, or binge-watching TV shows.
Blanca, Dental Assistant
Blanca joined our team over 10 years ago, and she always looks forward to meeting new people here at Buda Dental Professionals. She studied at the Center for Dental Professionals and has her certification in phlebotomy.
Blanca is happily married, and has two grown daughters, Abigail, who recently got married, and Lexi, who travels the country as an airline pilot. Outside of the dental office, her favorite hobby is tackling various projects around her home!
