INVISALIGN
With a growing number of adults expressing interest in straightening and aligning their teeth, we are excited to offer the option of Invisalign to our patients. Traditionally, orthodontics (tooth alignment) was achieved through the use of metal brackets and wires. Although this method is still widely used and very successful, there are those who are candidates for another alternative – Invisalign. Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten your teeth through a series of clear aligners (trays) that fit over the teeth – virtually undetectable by those around you. Another benefit is the ease of oral hygiene during the treatment. The trays are removed for brushing and flossing, which allows the patient much better access and ease of cleaning, as compared to that with numerous metal brackets.
The first step towards achieving a more beautiful smile through Invisalign is scheduling a New Patient Exam for evaluation of your bite, and to check for other dental conditions that may affect your Invisalign treatment. If you are a candidate for Invisalign, records are taken of your mouth, and a series of customized aligners are fabricated for you. Each aligner is changed out every two weeks over the course of treatment, and immediately you see results!
