Our Team

Cid

Cid has been part of the Buda Dental family for the past 25 years, and has enjoyed the many relationships she has formed with her patients. After 35 years practicing dental hygiene, Cid still enjoys learning new things daily. Cid and her husband, Jim, have two wonderful children, Katie and Cody, who have graduated college and are doing well in their professions. Cid and Jimmy have happily graduated to the “next phase” of life . . . becoming grandparents! They now have two beautiful granddaughters and a grandson on the way! Life is good.

Karen

Karen started working alongside Dr. Taylor over 20 years ago, and her goal has always been to provide our patients with the best dental care possible. Karen is a Registered Dental Assistant and brings over 30 years of experience working in dentistry. She makes it her aim to help every patient feel comfortable. Karen is also an instructor at The Center for Dental Professionals, a dental assisting school in Austin. Karen loves to cook and will spend time at the beach any chance she gets. She spends her time away from the office hanging out with friends, picking up new recipes from The Food Network and, of course, playing with her dog, Pookie.

Silina

In nearly a decade spent with Buda Dental Professionals, Silina has had the privilege of getting to know our patients both at the front desk and through dental assisting. She enjoys helping patients transform their lives and smiles, and values the friendships she makes along the way. Silina and her husband, Jacob, have a son, Javen, and they enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and family . . . especially when it involves listening to live music. Although Silina now spends most of her days raising Javen, she still enjoys a couple days week in the office, helping our patients and the team wherever she can.

Marla

Marla has been a part of our team since 2002, and brings nearly 20 years of experience as a dental hygienist. She has truly enjoyed the opportunity to serve our patients and help educate them about their oral health. In her time away from dentistry, she enjoys working in real estate and spending time outdoors with her family and her dog, a boxer named Lucy.

Jannette

Jannette has been with our office since 2003, and has found the dental profession to be very rewarding and enjoyable. Jannette first served our patients as a patient care coordinator, but recently became a Registered Dental Assistant and now works with our littlest patients – the children! With a family of her own, she recognizes how important a courteous and helpful staff can be when looking for a quality dental experience. She truly has a mother’s touch with the kids and they relax very easily while under her care. Away from the office, Jannette is a mother of four and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Heather

Heather is a native Texan and has been in the field of dentistry for nearly 15 years, the last 7 of which have been with Buda Dental Professionals. Heather is our Health Relationship Coordinator, and is often the first person that new patients come to know. In addition to building relationships with them, the part she enjoys most about her job is the opportunity to educate patients and help them make choices about their dental future. In addition to her role as Health Relationship Coordinator, Heather is a Registered Dental Assistant and also our Licensed Massage Therapist. When not working, Heather loves being with her husband Scott, and their two children, Madison and Jaxson. Heather also loves to cook, go dancing and spend time with her family and friends.

Jamie

Jaime is a Texas native, raised in a small town outside of San Angelo. She was blessed with a very close-knit family and continues to spend quality time with them every chance she gets. Jamie graduated from Dental Hygiene school in 2000, and joined Buda Dental Professionals in May of 2007. Jamie and her husband, Andrew, welcomed their first child in 2010…a little girl name Stella. They are enjoying their new life as a family of three, and live in Kyle.

Lisa

Lisa has been a part of the Buda Dental Professionals family since 2007. Lisa brings over 15 years of experience in dentistry, working in both the clinical and administrative settings. She currently runs our Invisalign program, and is our scheduling coordinator. Lisa is married to Joe, and they have two sons, Dalten and Brayden. In her free time, Lisa enjoys visiting with friends and family, spending time outdoors and participating in the Parent Teacher Organizations at her boys’ schools.

Blanca

Blanca joined the Buda Dental family in 2011. After spending 15 years at home raising her children, she chose dentistry as the path she wanted to pursue. Blanca is now one of our dental assistants, and very much enjoys getting to know our patients while taking care of their needs. She and her husband Tim have two daughters, Lexi and Abby. Blanca enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and playing with the family’s two border collies, Kai and Makena.

Eva

Eva has been in the dental field for over 20 years, and joined our team in 2011. She is the first smiling face you will see when you walk though our doors. Eva and her husband live in Kyle, and have three children – Logan, Lauren, and Lindsey. The family also has 3 chihuahuas! In her time away from the office, she enjoys watching UT games, grilling out, and spending time with friends and family.
